Classically trained dubbing actor, audiobook narrator and voice for radio and voice-over: I listen to the text, search for the right colour and give the character the breath it needs.
I am Anna Biro. I started as a radio host at Radio Skylab in Reggio Calabria, anchoring the radio news and a weekly show. I then trained for years in modern singing under M° Roberto Rogato in Latina, where I was a finalist and prize-winner at the Latina National Singing Contest (1999 — 1st place, 95/100).
I trained in dubbing through courses at Titania in Rome, studied diction and recorded a full-length audiobook at Studi Latte e Miele in Latina, completed an advanced Italian diction course, and followed a documentary course at IED Rome with a final mark of 27/30.
Between 2012 and 2015 I earned a Licence in Performing Arts — Film at Université Paul-Valéry in Montpellier (mention assez bien), alongside French amateur theatre. I work in Italian and French, with a real ear for both languages.
Every project asks for a different energy: a commercial isn’t voiced like an audiobook, and an animated character calls for a very different breath than a switchboard line.
